Account Executive, Advertising Sales - San Francisco or New York

Job Description:
Responsible for generating and driving ad sales revenue according to assigned budgets. Successfully represent GoFish within assigned territory. Maintain positive external relationships with agencies and clients and internal relationships with co-workers, split partners, and other Divisions. Responsible for consistently reporting accurate sales projections, updates and other information that relates to assigned territory and accounts.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Drive online advertising sale revenue and meeting all sales goals.
- Manage, renew and grow existing clients.
- Develop new business through executive's own network of contacts and
- prospecting.
- Negotiation of deals with approval of Manager
- Schedule meetings with sales prospects
- Gather pertinent detailed system and market information
- Prepare and Customize quality sales presentations for meetings through to close of business
- Manage and oversee Contractual Process
Skills and Competencies
- Customer focused sales executive with 2-5 years media/ad sales
- experience.
- Strategic seller able to identify individual client needs and propose optimal mix of products and solutions.
- Deep understanding of online ad sales marketplace with industry contacts. Intellectually curious with a desire to learn more about the online brand advertising marketplace
- Ability to work with ad agencies as well as marketing executives at the client level
- Team player with ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and exciting environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills: Word/Excel/Outlook/Powerpoint
- Broadcast/Cable TV and/or Online Media Advertising Sales experience is preferred
Desired Experience, Skills & Education
- Experience selling to important industries - e.g., CPG, Retail, Entertainment an/or Automotive
- Experience selling branded entertainment or product integration
- Broadcast, Cable Television and/or Print sales experience
- 4 year Degree or equivalent experience
