Gofish Debuts Spotlight to Showcase Original Video Productions

Traffic Jumps 274% in the Month of December According to Comscore Media Metrix

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - January 11, 2007 - GoFish Corporation (OTCBB: GOFH), the leading publicly traded online video company where millions of people come to upload, share, and watch videos, today announced the launch of Spotlight, a new GoFish.com feature that highlights original video productions created by talented members of the GoFish community.

Going live today, Spotlight will feature a number of original video series available at GoFish.com including:

  • The Marty Weber Show, a comedic variety show from Weber, the online personality who gained popularity last year as a finalist on GoFish's online reality show America's Dream Date;
  • Snowmen Hunters, created by production group Zanzibar19, the witty, satirical video series follows two hunters who have pledged to keep the world's snowman population at bay;
  • Anime Music Videos (AMV's), a cultishly popular category of video that has emerged online in which snippets of anime scenes are set to music; and
  • The Director's Chair, GoFish member and film director Paul Csige, provides a backstage pass to his collection of short films, some of the best being created outside of Hollywood.

These shows demonstrate the unique strategy adopted by GoFish to aggressively pursue and cultivate exceptional creative talent and provide innovative ways for major advertisers to participate as sponsors of original video content. GoFish encourages users to submit programming ideas or video collections that can be integrated into Spotlight. The showcased videos, along with their creators, will be rotated regularly as new users and their original content are added.

Spotlight is one of GoFish's content development projects, which to date have included the creation of branded entertainment programs such as America's Dream Date™ and Artist Voices™. While America's Dream Date motivated users to submit videos as part of a contest and Artist Voices encourages interaction between celebrities and fans using user-generated videos, Spotlight is designed to attract high quality online video producers, empower these producers to build significant audiences, and bridge the gap between advertisers and these new artists.

"The popularity of online video has given rise to a new breed of creative, non-professional video producer, and GoFish is committed to providing this group with the tools, resources and market momentum to build real entertainment franchises," said Michael Downing, CEO of GoFish. "With Spotlight, we are looking to single out and call attention to some of the properties that we believe have the ability to develop significant audiences and generate very real and tangible revenues for their creators."

The company also announced today that recent traffic growth has reached new heights, with a 274% increase in U.S. unique visitors from November to December, according to Comscore Media Metrix.
