GoFish Expands Its Network With Three Additional Premier Youth Sites
Addition of Urbaniacs and Cookie Jar's Doodlebops and Spider Riders Increase GoFish Network Reach to Over 20 Million Visitors
SAN FRANCISCO, CA - April 17, 2008 - GoFish Corporation (OTCBB: GOFH, www.gofishcorp.com), a leading youth entertainment and media network, has expanded its network with the addition of three premier youth entertainment sites: Urbaniacs (www.urbaniacs.com) and Cookie Jar Entertainment's Doodlebops (www.doodlebops.com) and Spider Riders (www.spiderriders.com). The addition of the new sites puts the GoFish measured audience at more than 20 million visitors, a record high.
As the exclusive advertising partner for these interactive youth entertainment sites, GoFish will aggregate and distribute age-appropriate, blue chip advertising across the sites to enhance users' experiences and generate additional branded inventory that will support all forms of online advertising including rich media and video.
Month-over-month growth for GoFish was approximately 8% in March. This increase reflects the addition of new sites, as well as organic growth of those sites that are already part of the network.
"We have already seen positive results in the short amount of time we have been working with GoFish on our role-playing game, Magi-Nation: Battle for the Moonlands," says Kenneth Locker, Senior Vice President of Digital Media for Cookie Jar Entertainment. "With GoFish's help and expertise, we can continue to improve our users' experiences and recognize greater revenue across an expanded list of properties including Doodlebops and Spider Riders."
"GoFish has the ability to help us with a targeted advertising strategy, allowing us to focus on meeting our high standards in providing suitable content for our target demographic," says Co-founder and Urbanville Mayor, Josh Fisher of Urbaniacs. "We expect this partnership to result in high value advertisements, increases in revenue, and new interactive opportunities for our users and brand marketers."
"These publishers typify the premier, highly targeted sites that comprise our network. We are delighted to welcome Urbaniacs on board and to expand our partnership with Cookie Jar," says David Fisch, Vice President of Publisher Development for GoFish. "Our continued growth proves that publishers are recognizing the value of what we offer. The result is a robust network that benefits consumers, advertisers and smaller publishers."
